default judgement on me

    I got ten days any way I can ask the courts to delay the action I am a real hardship. getting both hip replace ""had one. just a delay got a lead on a part time job and the doc wants me to lose weight before I get the other replace. help how many wages granish-ment can they do on me at once. I may just save up to do a bk. any tip..how about some good word everything will be good because it is hard out there. thank you

    I'm sorry to hear about your health issues, and I hope the hip replacement goes well. Your health is more important than your credit at this point, so focus on that and know that as with everything else, this too shall pass.

    You could always file a motion for continuance and have the case delayed. With medical problems, I can't possibly see the court saying "no".

    I have filed for continuance before for traffic violations, and while it only delays the inevitable, it does provide another month or two before the case is decided and money has to be paid.

    Thank You for your Caring words and the Tips, I sent the Letter out do any
    one knows how long it takes for the court to give me a answer
