I have received letters from three collection companies that they have stopped all collection activity and will be deleting the accounts from my credit reports. YEA!!! Now for my question, do I need to send copies of those letters to the CRA's, and if so do i send them certified.

    Thanks in Advance.

    Nah. Save your postage.

Wait a week or two and then pull your reports. If they accounts are still there, then dispute them with the CRA that's reporting them. The CRA will ask the CA if they should be there or not and update accordiingly. If the CA validates and the tradeline stays, your beef is with the CA not the CRA so send the CA a copy of the letter you have and aak them "what's the deal?"

Congratulations! Looks like you and I had success at the same time. I had 4 derogs a month ago. Used advice from here and wrote letters to all of them. Now 3 weeks later 3 of the 4 are completely removed from my Reports (although I haven't received anything in the mail from them yet). The best part is, one of them was an UNpaid collection that i was offering a 40% pay-for-delete...but the collection agency just deleted it. SWEET!
