I can't tell you how frustrated... in the last few months my TU file has been split up-teen jillion times. Today, I get a report in the mail that has only 6 tradelines, all accts opened in the last year. Thinking my file must be split again, I call and the rep says, nope there is no other file. so, I name off the 20 other tradelines that were on my report only a week ago, her response... they must not have reported this month so they are not on file. WHAT??? So, I say 10 years of credit history is just gone?? She tries to reassure me that my history is not gone, that it is reflected in my credit score. What am I supposed to make of this?
I'd do a FICO score w/your missing TLs. Hopefully, you have something to go by previously to compare it. It might have gone up, in which case I would be vewwwy, vewwy quiet. If it's gone down, I'd raise hell.
i tried to get a new fico, but I answered an identification question incorrectly so I'm blocked for 7 days...
