I disputed two old addresses over the past few months with Equifax. I sent each dispute seperately. I received two responses from them stating in absolute words that these were my addresses and they would remain on my record. Once an address has been verified, does that mean any future disputes would automatically be labeled as "Frivolous".
Re: Deleting old addresses easy NOT I disputed two addresses last week with CSC (Equifax). They put two of my tradelines in dispute, one of them being the oldest tradeline. I called back after I saw that they had done that, and they said that they pretty much choose two at random and if they come back with the address I disputed, the address stays on there. If they don't reply, then the address falls off. I'm gonna be really pissed off if I lose my best tradeline because of that...
I've had all three do this by phone....Experian took a couple of calls for the rep to actually follow through and do what they said they would do...but with each bureau the rep said sure, no problem and seemed happy it wasn't just a plain old dispute call...(guess they get bored after a while...LOL)
I disputed old addresses with experian and ended up getting locked out of my reports for 90 days. -Sal
Re: Deleting old addresses easy NOT If you were talking to me, no I wasn't. I disputed an old address.
