So i got the deletion letters/ letters notifying me that they will be deleting items from my account. YEAH!!!! But, the letter also said it would take the CA 60-90 days to do the actual deletion, even though the creditor reports every 15th of the month. Can I mail a copy of the letters to the CA and tell them I want it delted immediatly? Please help
Re: Deletion letter in hand.need ad I've done that. They often still take a little bit as they do verify - but it's a LOT faster! I have faxed mine to Experian and Equifax - and snail mailed to TU. Congratulations! Mommy2cats
Re: Deletion letter in hand.need ad I have found the best thing to do is CALL the CRA, explain that you have a letter, and that you are in a refinancing situation so you need a fast update. Get the person's name and fax to their attention. I've had stuff come off in 48 hours this way.
Re: Deletion letter in hand.need ad Same situation here. I called Experian and they said they haven't had fax capabilities for a month! Why do I feel like I'm being lied to? If anyone has EQ and EX fax #s that are valid AND current , I'd sure appreciate them.

I always get the results I want even if they claim that the fax doesn't exist (before they could possibly have received the snail mail letter). But if it's REAL important, send it overnight FedEx. Faxing is fine for TU and EQ, though. The EQ fax is (888)729-0083 or (866)233-3777.

So since im here, i too need the numbers to call the 3 major CRA's to either tell them that i have a deletion letter, and need a quick deletion, or a number that i can fax to them my letter. Also, when sending the letter in, what else do i send with it? im new to this stuff and im not experience enough to know! thanks for all the help! TTT
