Last month I pulled my credit report for the first time in a couple years. 6 medical collections, 1 phone co. collection, and about 9 late pay tradelines. Sent dispute letters to all 3 CRAs. TU and EQ started right away. EXP kept stalling. 2 wks later EXP finally gave in. TU came back last night. Wahoo! Started: 9 Adverse, TU Score of 556 Now: 1 adverse verification, 8 deletions of adverse information. TU Score: 693. I have to say, TU acted quickly. I'm happy with how they handled my dispute. The dispute letters I sent came from the book "Guaranteed Credit" by Arnold Goldstein. Good advice. Wahoo!! Next is my C.H.O.D. dispute of all he collection accounts while simultaneously sending validation letters. We'll see.
That is great. My first round of disputes to Trans union resulted in 8 out of 8. But, as most of us know, they sure tightened up the deletions quickly, although that didn't last long with a properly worded letter and phone call. Continued success to you!
