Im trying to get 3 charge offs deleted of incidents that happened when I was out of the country 5-6 yrs ago. The problem is the 3 accounts are the 3 oldest accounts in my credit history. If they do go off, my credit life will be significantly shortened. Would it still be worth it? How might FICO model this?

Also, are closed car loan accounts that were closed when a vehicle was traded in for another harmful to my score? Should I try to delete these too?

btw Im pursuing the matters through lexington law.

    Any answers are appreciated.

Are they paid or unpaid? Have you established new credit cards since returning to the US?

They are harmful only if there is derogatory information on them.
