Yesterday I was playing around on the dell web site and as I had tried several times before all to no avail to get the monthly pay plan so I decided to give it another try and to my amazement there popped up this screen asking verification questions from my credit file then next thing I know it says you are approved for purchases up to $5,000. I called next day and sure enought it was a true approval but at 23.99% interest but still lower than my gateway card at 27.99%. I was shocked it was approved. They pull experian and my score is around 580 I think. Some of you may want to try it too, has dell loosened up because of slacking pc sales and needs more business???
Can't tolerate another inquiry without approval. If someone in the lower 500's gets approved, please post.
Congrats! I was approved in November for 5000.00 @ 23.99 % I applied for the 90 days same as cash and got the monthly payments at 23.99 5 I did not want a new computer that bad. It went thru Citi. I have better rates on their credit cards.
I was approved for 2.5k but my FICO was in the 650's range. APR sucks but the debt is off the CR. I plan on paying this off in 9 months, so the APR will not be that bad. Best regards, Mirage
Just a thought. I was rejected by Dell last April and last week I disputed the inquiry and it was removed.
