Well, got the word today, I was approved. Apparently the problem that held up my approval was that their computer figured my tax incorrectly. Anyway, it doesn't matter, hubby was totally put off by the time I got the word today and didn't want it. Gonna look into Sony! Thanks for the heads up on that!
Well the hell with dell LOL. After what they put you through they don't deserve your business. I am sure you will have better luck else where
Hi, Nana. This is absolutely NONE of my business whatsover, but since I'm an experienced PC tech I may as well throw this out for you. Dell is one of the better big-name resellers and supposedly has some of the best support. But... if you REALLY want support, find a reputable computer shop near you. If you get a PC with standard components, you'll never have to worry about buying a proprietary part when the warranty expires and something goes wrong. For example, I've seen 3-year old Compaq replacement motherboards priced at $400.00+, while a good quality standard AT or ATX board can be had for about $80.00 or less. Besides, if you buy locally, you'll have a person there to yell at if things go wrong. Again, I don't mean to stick my nose where it doesn't belong, just wanted to offer a suggestion.
