Folks, Just wanted to thank you all fine folks. Reading and researching on this board has finally gotten me into the prime. I got approved for AMEX Delta Skymiles for a CL of $6200. I am in Dallas,TX and they pulled Equifax. Score was 667 (credit Watch)with one unpaid charge off for 152.00 from 1998. I also have 4 inq. in the last 6 months. I did not get an instant approval online when I applied, so I called customer service and had them review my application. Per the CSR who reviewed my application, the reason I did not get an instant approval was because I have a personal statement on my credit report and that flagged the application. On the down side, Citibank denied me for the AA silver. I have PFBed them and am waiting on a answer. They looked at my Experian and the reason for denial is the 1 derog on the report ( unpaid chargeoff) for $2172 from 1995. It is going to drop off in Oct of this year. Will try again once this clears the report. Credit expert score was 662 and 4 inq. in last 6 months. 18 satisfactory accounts, 1 derog. 98% revolving credit available. Also 145K mortgage open with CitiFinancial and 2 open car loans with CU. Next step, refinance my mortgage at a better rate. Thanks everyone. Dan
