Does anyone know if you could possibly denied for a mortgage based on your Chex system report?? I have already submitted my loan application but I just thought I may have a bad check floating around out there. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I applied with Bank of America.
I don't know of any mortgage brokers that pull Chexsystems, but I have never dealt with a bank loan officer for a mortgage - so I could be incorrect. I don't believe one bad check on ChexSystems will hurt your chance at a mortgage because, really only three things come into consideration when qualifying for a mortgage: 1. Credit 2. Income 3. Downpayment If the above requirements all look good you should have no problem. They will pull public records though. Good luck and don't worry. Dani
