I got denied for a chevron basic card. " The decision was based in whole or in part on information obtained from Experian" They did not mention the credit builders program, does that mean I don't qualify for it?? There is no phone number for chevron on the letter. What should I do????
Molly, Call them at 1-800-FREE-APP. Try telling them that you were denied and want to be considered for credit building program.
What were the loan denial reasons? Might not qualify for rebuilders... depends... FDR Sucks (not the president)
They do offer different types of accounts, so if you were eligible they would have notified you. However we all know how computers make mistakes, try calling them and see what they say , it's can't hurt. Keep us posted.
They automatically reveiw all card applications for the credit builder program. If you didn't qualify, you've got items on your report to clear up. Any collection account over $500, BK within the last 4-5 years is automatically rejected.
