My bk was filed in July of '99. I never went through with it and it was dismissed. I filed a dispute with Equifax stating that I did not have a chapter 13 bk. About 30 days later they sent me a letter stating that they were not able to verify it and that it had been deleted from my report. Maybe I just lucked out as I was told it would stay on my report for 10 years whether it was dismissed or not. Trans Union doesn't show it either. So, I sent a letter to Experian again saying that I don't have a bankruptcy. Maybe I'll luck out again.
I live in california and they pulled transunion which is strange cus most creditors in this state pull experian for me ,
