I recently finished the refinancing process, and I got a notification from EFX that there's something new. I went ahead and checked my credit report, and it shows that the bank closed my HELOC with the notification "account closed by credit grantor". I'm under the impression that this type of entry is looked upon negatively since that's the type of notification a creditor would put in there if they closed someone's credit for being a "bad consumer". I was expecting to have "closed at consumer's request" on there. So should I be concerned?
