I was just wondering, how does a father/son, same first/last name keep their reports from getting jumbled (especially since I kill myself to straighten them out!)!!

Also, since this is the case, can I dispute all items at once or just stick with the 3 or 4 rule? I have 13 hards to get off and am getting itchy!

Thanks for any input on this matter

My fiance has the same problem.

We disputed everything that was his fathers at one time.

Now the problems we face are:
    1. Every now and then something of his fathers appears on his Trans Union report.
    2. We can't seem to get his accounts to appear on his Experian report. His report is almost empty now that his father's stuff is gone and his doesn't show up.

I would recommend monitoring all his credit reports routinely in case new things from his father appear.

Did you have a hard time getting the inquiries removed? Thanks

Sorry for the late reply... I never saw your question before.

Trans Union was good about removing inquiries. We use the Buffalo affiliate. We had no trouble with TU with respect to inquiries.

Exp and Eq suck about removing inquiries.

I am a Jr. also and this has been happening to me my entire life. You'd think that they would just go by SSN but apparently not. Most of the time it's no problem getting things removed from TU & Equifax that belong to him. Experian is absolutely horrible though (IMHO). I still have two items on there that are his and I have disputed both multiple times. I've always had good luck getting inquiries removed by Equifax.... Experian & TU are a crap-shoot. Experian has removed a few and refused to remove others. TU has been very odd... a couple of times they removed everything I challenged.. a couple of other times they wouldn't remove anything and just sent me a letter saying that I needed to contact the people that put the inquiry on there.

happens all the time with DH....

I agree with C5kirk, TU and EQ are pretty good about deleting the negative accounts. One CA **knew** the account belonged to the dad, but still wouldn't delete.

Sent a notarized affidavit to TU and it was deleted within two weeks. Of course the CA still call me and DH everyday......weasles!
