I have a six year old paid Diamond Shamrock account for a whopping $75. Has anyone had any luck getting them dropped from your report early? It's be verified. It's not with a collection agency, it is with them directly. I was thinking about asking them to give me a second chance and re-instate the account, but it has lates all over it and I'd probably be better off either finding a way to get it dropped early or just wait the few months to drop itself. Would it be a waste of time to write them directy and ask/beg for "forgiveness"? It is sched to fall off July 2002. BTW, just joined credit expert. It's great...score at 632. Balances out of whack, and this one diamond shamrock account. This score is for my BEST report. Thanks!! Saf
