Did Chase buy Advanta Mortgage?

    Does anyone know if Chase Mortgage bought Advanta Mortgage?

    All of a sudden on my husbands TU report what was our last mortgage Advanta is now coming up listed as Chase. All the other reports including mine still say Advanta.

    Yep, I think so. I remember reading something about it in the financial news.

    Yes they did Becky. My mortgage was with Advanta and I received a letter in early April telling me of the purchase.

    Also, I knew it was coming because I read about the impending purchase in January in Cnnfn.com

    Maybe that is why my husband & my reports are so screwed up on the reporting of our sold home.
    We sold this house in 11/00. Maybe they haven't got there acts together on old files yet.
