They approved me! I applied online but did not get an instant so I called today, they put me on hold and wham....I got it. I don't see any inquiry on Exp or TU, so maybe they pulled Equi. The pre-approval was based on TU though...but hey...doesn;t matter I guess.
I went ahead and went online to finish the app for my pre-approval and got instant approval online for the AMEX GREEN REWARDS! One more to add to my small collection.
not to bring any unhappiness here but just realize what I learned the hard way, that the points earned on this card are 2 to 1 into most frequent flyer programs. Just an FYI, congrats to all, I LOVE AMEX, once you are in with them they take care of you to the max
