Bank One jacks your rate even when they don't jack your rate! Some months ago I did a Bal. Trans. at 5.99% for the life of the loan. On this months statement I got hit with a 12.99% rate on $35.00 and 5.99% rate on the balance of the account thus making the rate greater than the 5.99% it is supposed to be . The $35.00 was for a bogus late fee which they catagorized as a purchase at 12.99% even though the $35 was reversed.
