EQUIFAX - remaining 4 Collections 1 reaged account CCB - transferred still showing lates Cap One - I fixed last week but EQ stil shows jacked TransUnion - remaining 2 Collections Cap One - fixed Experian - remaining 1 collection Cap One - fixed Student loan going to forebearance but showing 60 day late....aargghhhh! How do I fix this shiznit? I am getting eally frustrated? I want a mtg....Any takers, I'd be delighted. P.S. Hey Roni..my #30 is off the hook, what's a girl to do? Kind of aching.
Kittw1, I have the same EQ/Cap One problem. I have a letter from Cap 1 stating they were correcting the info., but EQ keeps saying that it comes back verified. They refuse to change it! TU and EX corrected it w/in 30 days. I have an 800 number from the letter which I will post for you tomorrow. I am calling Cap One to get proof that they verified/updated EQ. Part of the problem may be that EQ contacts a div. of Cap One in Glen Allen, VA and the letter comes from a div. in Richmond, VA. But should be same computer system, right? cariba
Well the CA activity is approx 2-3 yrs old. The reaged account was opened in 1988. I waited the 7 years and it was off...Well now the arseholes have indicated DLA od 01/01..I don't think so..I am not stupid enuff to wake up the dead...OOOOO!
Kittw1, I called 800-955-7070 and spoke with a CSR named Nancy this morning. She said they had sent two previous updates to EQ. I requested proof of the updates. She checked with a supervisor and said that there was no problem in doing it. They forwarded my information to the Account Resolution Team and they are going to send me copies of what they sent to EQ to update my file. She said they would not have updated by tape since it was a closed acct. I did however, update my address and tele. # (for a closed account, go figure!). She said I would be receiving a letter from Acct. Resol. along with copies of their previous account disputes they sent to EQ. Try that number, It seems to be a reg. customer serv. number.
