I recently pulled all my credit reports and scores. To my surprise there are so many things on there that are different from the other report. Example, Equifax is reporting an account that I had more than 7 years ago and the other two are not. Could it be that they only reported to that company or the other two simply followed the 7-year rule? Also some accounts have different amounts being reported and they are being reported on all three. There are many charge offâ??s I had in the past and I know they are more than 7 years old or approaching near that mark. What do I do? What kind of letters do I sent out, etc. What is the process? Also some of the account says sold or transferred, but I know they are past the 7-year mark or close. On this report it does not say the account last activity just the date it opened and the last date reported. Oh one more thing when does the new credit score system take place? Thanks a lot.
