I just received notice from Diners Club they've opened a club plus account on my card. I did not apply for this credit line. Are they doing this for all of their cardholders? Also got a preapproved Carte Blanche membership, but at $300 per card, can't find any justification to change. Think they are finding it difficult to increase their market share?
I applied for Diners Club and I didn't get any negative from my credit report. They also approved for Montage Card the following year and they pulled credit report from Transunion. Ron.
Mid 700s on all 3 CRA. Noticed they monitor soft pull every month without fail. So far great customer service. Find I have to use a bank card at some establishments because merchant doesn't accept card. Just used their rewards program and got $200 worth of prepaid gas cards.
gobucks, Yes, Diners Club pulled soft inquiry on my Experian credit report almost every month. I also get Montage Card because it has no annual fee. I haven't redeem my points towards anything yet. Ron.
