I just received a $10 Plat card from this company, I'm thinking I should close it, unused. Can anyone tell me do they CHARGE you to make an online payment? and do they hold such payments over $100 for 15 days!? They also have an outrageous balance transfer charge of 4%! That should be free!
They do not charge for online payments. I know they hold payments.....no doubt......small and large. I have made a payment by phone, called C.S. 2 days later, and the C.S. said the payment would not be posted for 3 more days although he could "see" the payment on the computer. I have made numerous payments by mail 6-10 days before the due date, and the payments would be posted 1 day late everytime, yet I would receive over-the-limit notices by mail from them in 2-3 days....hmm. I hear they treat prime card holders better, but I would be careful and make payments online 3-4 days ahead. Good Luck.
