    How hard is it to get approved by dmb and merrick bank if you have bad credit? How good are they?

    I know they pull equifax, they did with my application and I have 1 bad account on there. I applied for my husband and he also got approved and he has 4 chargeoffs on his.
    Let me clarify... they approved us for a secured card which really is not that secured. You deposit 99.00 for a 500.00 credit line.

    The fact that they (sometimes?) pull Equifax is news in itself. That could explain why I get better pre-approved offers from them than from anyone else.

    DMB will likely approve. I have one of their cards, and they've treated me really well so far(6 mos.).

    Paul,
    DMB may approved you for a MC.
    But, it might take 8 to 9 months for the
    card to be reported to the CRAs.I have had
    their card since FEB to now still not reported yet.Meanwhile, I have great services
    from them.Good luck!
