Since i have been getting many phone calls from bill collectors everyday i have decided to have my home phone disconnected.I have a cell phone not in my name that i use all the time.So what can i expect in the future from these bill collectors?Has anyone ever tried this.I dont work so my home phone is the only number listed on my credit reports.

Go to the document library and download the Cease and Desist.

I agree, buy a tape voice recorder. When they call, ask them to stop calling and if they continue to call that is harrasment and you can sue them. I have heard of people getting millions from such suits. Also make sure you don't aknowladge that you owe anything, I belive this will start over the SOL in Texas.
