Discover BT to debit card?

I searched on this, but only found a thread that died last Nov.

Discover has been playing with me on my BT rates, but they offered me 0% again for 6-months today. I would like to do the BT to max out my Discover (no current balance) for two reasons:

    1. update "high credit" on Equifax
    2. make them subsidize my savings account for 6months at 0%

Out of principle, I want the $ as fast as possible. I can BT to an empty card and then request a check for my acct credit, but that seems to take weeks.

Will it backfire on me if I give them the acct# to my debit card? Someone has to have tried this already.

    Anyone?

I have BT'D to my checking (MBNA)...(they suggest it)...

    I don't have a DEBIT (CHECKING CARD) so I can't try...

SOMEBODY WAS GOING TO TRY...NO FINAL ANSWER...

You might just try like $100 and see if you get a CASH ADVANCE...
