I received four pre-approved notices from Discover in last four monthes.Today I got two more of those.But both are pre-selectrd.
I already HAVE a Discover card, and still get the pre-selected offers. By the way, I received another pre-approval from AT&T Universal the other day, and when I tried to "accept" it online, my pre-approval number didn't work (tried it several times at various times). Error message said the number wasn't 'found' in their database, and I was supposed to call them and do an app over the phone. Yeah, right! Shredded that one too...
I, too, had the same problem. My pre-approved number just didn't exist in their system. Gave up after few attempts.
