What is the minimum score that Discover accepts? They pulled EX. Also, how do you get in touch with the PBM? I tried but couldn't get in touch with em. Charlie
Got a $3000 CL in Dec. with a 724 Equifax. I think they like scores in the 700's with no derogs, but some other members here may have experienced otherwise.
I got one with scores in mid to upper 600's. 5000cl plantium. They however turned me down a year prior to this. In addition to this I used to have an account 7 years ago that was late a few times but has since dropped of my credit report but you would think they still have that information. Experian 686 Equifax 650 approx.
Dh was denined with a 699, 2 derogs (one 3 years old, one 6 years old). However my cat recently got mail from them saying she was 'pre-selected' to receive a card..... Ozzy.
I applied for Discover Platinum Card two years ago and they approved me Discover Classic Card with $3500. I request to increase my limit and they increased my limit to $5000. They upgraded my account to Discover Platinum Card. I was disappointed they gave me Discover Classic Card because I don't have any negative in my credit report. They pulled credit from Equifax. Ron.
What's a derog I look on the the newbie post and didn't see it. They have gold card that they are pushing.
A 'derog' is short for a derogatory account. An account you wish wasn't there.. one with bad stuff, like lates. Ozzy.
They pulled TU for me a month ago. I have not received any letter or card. Probably I will be denied.
Geo, When I applied for Provate Issue Card and they took a month to approve my application. I thought they may denied me because excessive inquiries on my Equifax report. After a month, I received from the mail and they approved me $10,000. It may not be denial for you because they have many people applying for the card at this time. Ron.
