I have been reading here for about 6 months, just joined and this is my first post. I had 5 derogs on all three reports, all cc's that were charged off in '98 and '99. I wanted to reestablish my credit so I started to clean up my reports. I disputed all 5 negs as "not mine" and all came off except Discover. All three bureaus came back with verified no change. So I read up some more on here and sent PR to all three, and a letter to discover saying you are reporting incorrectly, blah, blah.... Discover never responded so I redisputed with all three CB's, I am now awaiting the results of this second round. Here is where I need some advice. On my report it says the following about Discover, (dates changed for privacy, but still accurately portray situation). opened 3/98. 3/98 R4, 4/98 R3, 5/98 R2, 6/98 R4, 7/98 R2, 8/98 R4, 9/98 R2, 10/98 R4, 11/98 R4, 12/98 R4, 1/99 nothing, 2/99 nothing, 3/99 R2, 4/99 R2, 5/99-11/99 nothing, 12/99 R3, 1/00 R4, 2/00 R5, 2/00-6/00 R5. DOLA 09/1999 Closed 06/2000 I am sure that I stopped paying on this account around the date they first reported it 3/98, but cannot prove it. How can they say I had the payment history? I mean it goes from 30days late to 90 the next month...makes no sense. Also if I am correct the DOLA should be about a year earlier, I think they made up some of this payment history to reage the account, of course I still cant prove it. Any advice on where to go from her would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well I guess I am going about this in the correct manner. If I am wrong or should attack this at another angle, let me know. I am just not real sure what to do with this one, and its the only baddie left so I really want it gone.
