On my CR I have a Discover account that was sold to a CA. The CA is not listed on my report anywhere as me having an account in collections. Should I send a DV letter to Discover or the CA? Or should I just leave it alone? I don't want to have any more negative info added to my CR. Date of status/Last reported 02-2000/01-2002 Recent balance/Recent payment $0 as of 01-2002/$47 I don't know what that means but I know I haven't paid on this account in years.
