Two weeks ago, I applied for Discover Gas Rewards Patinum Card over the phone. Last week, I called 1-800-Discover to check the status of the application. I got denied and I haven't reveived any letter from the mail. So I don't know what was the reason. I called Discover Retention Department to convert my Discover Titantium Card with no bonus to Discover Gas Rewards Patinum Card. He told me that they can convert it and I will receive the card within 7 to 10 days. Well, I waste an inquiry for nothing. The APR for purchases is 11.99% fixed. By the way they told me that they cannot convert it into Gas Rewards Card last week. Ron.

I applied for one and I got denied last week. I haven't received denial letter yett. Today, I called retention dept and they told me that they could switch Titanium Card into Rewards Cash back Platinum Card. The purchase rate is 11.99% fixed and it is better than 13.99 var on the website. Ron.
