What are the increases like? Do they usually do them automatically after six months or so or do you have to request one?
Laray, Discover Usually increase your credit limit once a year depends on your usage,credit history and payment history. If you request the limit increase they will pull hard inquiry on your credit report. Ron.
MINE WASN'T INCREASED FOR YEARS...I had to call to tell them I was "THINKING" about closing it... They gave me $3,000 no inquiry and a 5.90% BT...
George, They increased Discover Platinum Card from $5000--> $6500 and Private Issue from $10,000 ---> $12,000. They increased the limit depends on your usage, credit and account history. Last time I requested limit increase for my Discover Platinum Card 2 yrs agoand they pulled hard inquiry on my Equifax report. They denied me because too many inquiries. Ron.
