Maybe you did something to cause them to believe that you're no longer a good credit risk?

"IF" you don't need to use the card...SOCK DRAWER IT!!!

Or pay it in FULL and close it...

21% is too WAY TOO HIGH!!!

You could always use it for one tank of gas overy other month...AND PAY IN FULL

But before you "SOCK DRAWER ITâ?¢," perhaps you should get George's permission because he has copyrighted the process:

SOCK DRAWER IT Copyright ©2001-2003 GEORGE.

Since George PATENTED the process and TRADEMARKED the name, I was using my desk drawer instead. But that didn't work, so I cut up all my cards except two.

Now I'm waiting for the renewal cards to come in the mail, starting with Chevron in July.

Hey, I've got one of those 21% Discover cards also and they won't lower my interest rate, even after I paid it off. I didn't cancel with because I just figured I would just pay it off every month so I won't get charged any interest. Well, what's what I was doing for the past year, but now I have a balance with them at a rate of 1.9% because it's a BT. Even though I can't seem to get my APR lowered, I'm happy to have the 1.9% BT rate.

    Crabjoe,

That's one of the strangest repricing stories ever. And they're all strange, to one degree or another, They never make complete sense.
