Last year I got on a hardship program with Discover and was paying $87 a month. My hardship program ended in Feb. 2003. The minimum payment due for the following month was $125!!! I kept getting calls but I just simply told them I did not have that amount of money. I asked if they could help me out again with that hardship program. "Can't do it", they said, because you have already been on the program b4. Well, now my minimum due is $842 which I surely can't pay. The DOLA is 6/01. It has never gone to collections and shows as an R5, which I guess is good, but how long can they keep racking up late fees and overlimit fees?. Has anyone had any luck dealing with a neg. Discover account?
