Anyone have one? I applied back in October and was denied (pre-Junum). They pulled Equifax. Since, Junum has cleaned up my Equifax report. Should I try again now? If you have one, what type of FICO do they want you to have? I have NO negative on Equifax...not even a late pay. Score - 649.
I would go for it. The only reason they turned me down was my collection account on Equifax. And my score is 624. Jill
Make sure you pay the balance in full each month. Never carry a balance even once because their "two-cycle billing" practice will wipe out your grace period and almost double your finance charges. If you have to carry a balance, use another card!
Shantel, I applied for Discover Platinium card in the begiining of last year and they approved me a Discover classic card.After ten months of account opening, I request credit increase and upgraded to Platinium. They approved it with $5000.
