i asked discover for a reconsider on my denied application and they pulled my credit again. I didnt think they did another hard inquiry for a reconsider because i have asked other banks and they have not. Are they allowed to do this, and how would i dispute it? thanks
I would definately think that they are allowed to recheck your credit. How else would they know if your worthy of reconsideration? I just asked TU to send my clean report out to all the CC's that have requested my report in the last 6 months. Not sure if anything will come of it, but they are supposed to if you request it. Maybe you could try that!
