Two friends got zero percent teaser offers in the mail. One from Chase, one from Discover.

Both people have roughly equal credit scores and income. Both offers promised credit limits from 5K up, so they both requested $5000 bts at the zero rate.

Chase came through, with a 15K credit line and the transfer went right through. Discover just sent a new
card to the second person with a measly 1K credit line!

WTH is going on with Discover?? When I checked my
bt rate online today it was 9.9%. It has always been
3.9 to 5.9. And my credit is better now.

Is Discover hurting? Has anyone else noticed this?

My friend hasn't activated his new card yet. What happens if you reject a card before you activate it?
Does it still report? Should he just activate it and
sock drawer it? What a waste of time.

    I HAVE A "GO-TO" WITH DISCOVERCARD @ 13.74%...BT WAS 5.90% (NO FEE) THEN 1.90% ($29.00 FEE).

    "NEW" customers get 0.00% with a "GO-TO" 12.99%!!!

F.Y.I. DISCOVERCARD 2-cycle billing...CHASE is single cycle billing.
