I am very new to forums. I probably have not spent over an hour on them in all my put togethers but I have to try because I need some help.
Can anyone tell me who WCI is? I know they have something to do with DISH, but what?
I had a credit score of 748 yesterday and have kept my score between 735 and 793 for the last 8 years.
My son set up an acct with DISH network and when his bill was due he gave me his money and I paid his bill with my charge card.
He moved out and left his boxes here. I tried to disconnect the account annd they said if the acct was disconnected they would put the 2 year contract on my credit card. I told them if they did that I would file a dispute. They then said, "That would be a terrible mistake because then we would put it on your credit reports, all three of them."
By holding this over me, they pretty well forced me to pay his account. I paid it until I found his old contract. He happened to leave it here and I came across it months later. I did not see any time on the contract as for how long it was. It had his signature but at the top it had both mine and his name. I did not know he had even told them my name until he gave me cash to pay his first bill.
They would not even talk to me about the account until my son got on the phone and gave them permission. They said they could not do that since the account was in his name. Then after he moved out, they said it was my account. They are nothing but shysters and theives and liars.
They told me if I sent the boxes back that if they came back in good shape, I would get an invoice showing a balance of 0 but after I sent them back they sent me an invoice billing me with $351. I don't owe this. It is not my account, it never was.
Can anyone help me. I have several letters fixed up ready to mail but I need to know who WCI is. My alert just showed the company that had turned me in and no way to reach them.
    Thanks,
    Donna
