Had an account that was very old, leftover from my divorce in '90, but I included it in my Ch7 in 2001. They recently popped on EQ, w/a bogus DOLA and recent chargeoff date. I disputed online the day I saw it, and it was deleted in a matter of days. The irony was that it actually *raised* myFICO by a point - was opened in '82, so the history obviously helped. Same account popped up on EXP on May 6, I disputed online immediately. Today, it's gone.It dropped my FICO by a whopping 64 points! I find it amazing it was deleted so quickly. I would expect that 30 days would mean they did not confirm, but in this case they came back very quickly. My thought is that the address(es) they had were so old that nothing lined up.
