I am wondering should I dispute the addresses on my credit report as being inaccurate or should I leave them as a basis for my disputes for accounts that are NOT mine?

I recently subscribed to credit expert and they have me down as living at like 20 addresses. Some of the addresses are maybe like 1 or 2 letters different (like Apartment Numbers) but some of them are just dumb as hell because I didn't live at them at all.

    What should I do?

We had a similar situation with TU and EXP and just called and they were removed immediately on the phone.

My mom had about 20 on hers and has lived at the same address for 35 years. We sent a letter for hers and gave them a couple of true variations of her correct address and they deleted all of the others.

In neither case was there an issue.

The only thing to remember is if you currently have something else already in dispute with a CRA, they may not be able/willing to correct your addresses until the dispute is completed.

We've had similar experiences with getting name variations corrected as well.

I would delete all address you don't want. You can simply call them and say you've never lived there. Or you can copy the page of your report with the address info and cross out the address that are incorrect. You should not need to send proof of current address.
