Ive got several student loans that are showing up on my credit reports. The EXACT same accounts are showing up twice each time - once in the negative section and once again as positives. EXACT same accounts - in the negative theyre showing as deferred and 30 late or more (some 90 and 120 late). They have ALWAYS been in deferment or forbearance of some kind. I disputed these online through the CRA as paid/never late. Was this the smart thing to do? I have very little credit, and there are alot of negatives due to a hard time early on in college (i got pregnant my first year of college). All those late pays took a hard toll unfortunately. Suggestions? Rain...
If you have them reporting twice dispute the neg like you did. If it comes back verified then try again or try not mine.
