They "REVIEWED" it...but they did NOT act on it!!!

I would make a copy of the letter and ask them when they expect to "ACT" on your problem send a copy of their letter attached to your second letter.

On the outside of the envelope...write SECOND NOTICE between EXPERIAN'S name and the address...

    CERTIFIED R/R

Actually, I had an item in dispute for 2 30 day lates (old) and it was moved to the positive accounts side - official dispute paper states "reviewed"

    Means you got screwed.

My question is "reviewed" a status per the FCRA?

    (A) In general. If the completeness or accuracy of any item of information contained in a consumer's file at a consumer reporting agency is disputed by the consumer and the consumer notifies the agency directly of such dispute, the agency shall reinvestigate free of charge and record the current status of the disputed information, or delete the item from the file in accordance with paragraph (5), before the end of the 30-day period beginning on the date on which the agency receives the notice of the dispute from the consumer.

You could also argue that they did not send you the results of the reinvestigation...

    (A) In general. A consumer reporting agency shall provide written notice to a consumer of the results of a reinvestigation under this subsection not later than 5 business days after the completion of the reinvestigation, by mail or, if authorized by the consumer for that purpose, by other means available to the agency.

    "Reviewed" is not a result.

    the EVIL EXP strikes again...

Somebody also had "CHECKED" that was NOT a result either...NOTHING WAS FIXED OR CONFIRMED FROM THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR...ALL THEY DID WAS CHECK TO "SEE" IF IT WAS ON THEIR CREDIT REPORT!!!

When I got this type of response from EXP, it was because the items I had disputed were no longer showing on my file.

Mysteriously, all my negs and pos w/ the exception of 1 AT&T TL disappeared earlier this month. The reps say the "reviewed" line meant they saw my dispute, but had no idea what I was talking about because the items weren't on my CR.

What's sad is it took them 30 days to tell me that?

    smontoya...

Your exp score rocks! My exp is perfect, but the file is only 3 years old!?!?! I know what happened....

Anyways, doesn't it suck that the one that is good is the one nobody pulls?

The one thing I disputed w/ exp was them not showing a limit. They deleted the accoutn, so I had to contact oc to have them re-report. Still waiting to see if it shows up again.

I know! It's frustrating because my 10 year history has been reduced to 6 months! I'm hoping that when my CCs update they reappear but I'm not holding my breath..

Tried applying for Dell financing- thought maybe they would just look at the score. NOPE! Received the denial letter the other day

    "Not enough revolving history"
    "Too many new accounts (???)"

I guess that sort of denial is preferable to

    "Too many serious delinquencies"
    "Evidence of public record"
    etc
