After being lucky and getting 3 negative tl's deleted w/o a lot of trouble I got greedy and disputed a tl w/ EQ that was showing an inaccurate cuurent status as 120 days late... as not mine....
    Only the comments changed from:
Account transferred or sold , Account transferred or sold ,
    Trsf/Sold/Pd

    to:
    Account Closed by Consumer
Paid charge off Account transferred or sold ,
    Pd/Closed

Is the fact that it added the words "charge off" going to affect my fico...I've finally got it in the high 600s...I dont wanna pull a new score to check yet as Ive paid down all of my CC but I know they havent reported yet so Im waiting....
    Thanx AJ

i don't think it is necessarily bad. don't worry about it until you pull your scores.

    Well jenz,
    its real bad...70 point drop
amazing thing is, a collection account was also removed, balances paid down to less than 10% and here I am expecting a small jump, instead I go from 660 to 590!!
meanwhile my tu went from 609-643 and expo from
    624-660
    talk about pi#$%# off.

After further checking, I think I have found the culprit...the current status hasnt changed since last month, it showed 120 late then as well but under the color coded payment history it went from green and current this month... to pink and 120 days late and sure enough under the "reason" section on the scores...one of the things listed is recent late payment reported.....I love it, the account was paid AND transfered over 2 years ago and yet they can put 120 days late.....

PROPS TO EQUIFAX, I online disputed it yesterday and today the payment history is wiped out and score up to 665....still shows current status as 120 days late but it has always said that and I aint messing w/ it anymore.
