Hi,everyone. This is my first post. I've been reading up and I'm really excited about all I've learned.I am however confused about one thing. In the "DIY Credit Repair" guide it suggests that you should only send one dispute every 90 days, but in the FAQs it says that you can safely dispute 4 items at a time. Which is correct?

You can send a few disputes at one time safely, just don't get carried away and send say more than 10 disputes.

You should wait more than 60 - 90 days before sending any follow up disputes.

If you wait the 30 days then send out disputes immediately - the credit reporting agency will think you are spam disputing them for credit repair and they will deem the dispute frivolous and shut you down from disputing further.

If an item gets updated as disputed by consumer, then there is no amount of trying that is going to work. You just have to wait a while before you try again.

Another thing to watch for is if the credit reporting agency thinks you used credit repair they can send you a letter touting the evils of credit repair. And they will inform you of your rights against any credit repair company that they think you used.

I would say if you send in a batch of disputes at once keep it to no more than 5 items.
