I have came across several discussions regarding the notice of dsipute on a report. I am confused because my report has many different things. I have posted the following accounts Im concerned about- GNB/BEALLS # REVOLVING ACCOUNT CHARGE ACCOUNTVERIF'D 03/2002 BALANCE: $77 INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNT OPENED 01/1995 MOST OWED: $341 CREDIT LIMIT: $400 CLOSED 11/1997 >PAST DUE: $77< CONSUMER DISPUTES 2X> STATUS AS OF 11/1997: COLLECTION ACCOUNT< GNB/STAGE # REVOLVING ACCOUNT CLOSED CHARGE ACCOUNTVERIF'D 03/2002 BALANCE: $0 INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTOPENED 08/1994 MOST OWED: $476 CREDIT LIMIT: $1200 PAID OFF 06/2001 CONSUMER DISPUTES 2X STATUS AS OF 06/2001: PAID OR PAYING AS AGREED >IN PRIOR 41 MONTHS FROM DATE PAID 16 TIMES 90 OR MORE DAYS,<> 2 TIMES 60 DAYS, 5 TIMES 30 DAYS LATE<> MAXIMUM DELINQUENCY OF 90+ DAYS OCCURRED IN 04/1999< I have disputed both accounts with OC for the last 3 months. Does (consumer disputes 2X) mean that they are in dispute? Does this satisfy the FCRA 623 regulation? I am using this as my leverage and hope Im right. I appreciate any information on this.
Also would the consumer disputes 2X look bad to a judge if you were trying to argue a case under FCRA623? How would you tell him that it isn't the OC that is marking that. I am pretty sure that the CRA are the ones that are notating the accounts. I would think that when the OC or CA notates the account that it would say acct in disputed satisfies FCRA623.. Any thoughts?
