Is it better to dispute items online or by mail? Also how much time should lapse before you try to dispute items again?

Either will work. I tend to prefer my mail so as to have a certified letter, return receipt etc, basically a paper trail. Although some here have had success going the way of on-line disputes and selecting "other" to get a real person to review it.

    IT DEPENDS!!!

EQUIFAX (ON-LINE) only gives you 3 choices...

    "THIS ACCOUNT IS CLOSED"
"NOT MINE (THIS ACCOUNT DOES NOT BELONG TO ME)"
    "INCORRECT BALANCE"

If you wanted to dispute a LATE...NONE APPLY!!!

If you have account that says "UNKNOWN" and it should be "AUTHORIZED USER"...NONE APPLY!!!

I prefer to dispute what I can online, because I can be sure it "got there" and save on stamps and such. Its really does depend on what you like and how serious the TL you are dealing with is.

I guess you have to have HAD a "LATE" on your report for that to show up...
