I have a BUNCH of financing co. tradelines on my report (Efx only) all paid as agreed. I thought I might try disputing them all off, since the manager of the co is a friend of dh's and always removed when we hinted before. the only one that currently has a balance, I disputed. The balance is 20k, when I placed this item in dispute, my Efx score dropped from 645 to 635. This is NOT the oldest tradeline as a matter of fact was only opened about 6 months ago. Well, I guess I should have told the friend what I was doing bc this tradeline was verified in about 1 week. The only change is the payment amount dropped from 800 a month to 111??? Which is incorrect BTW, the 800 was correct. Well, after the tradeline was "verified", my score dropped AGAIN to 625. WTF?????????? my score has slowly dropped fm 696 to now, 625. These last 2 drops NOTHING else changed. Absolutely NOTHING. My scores keep dropping but yet still nothing derog. Only new accts. These people ARE smoking crack.
Re: Re: Disputed Fin. co, score DROPPED But NOTHING changed in the 1 week during the dispute. No new accts during that time. My score dropped 10 pts when I disputed it, and then again when they updated. I have not had a new acct show up in several weeks.
update:::::::::: Well, I didsputed the tradeline again, after pulling PG today it looks like it was deleted this time, I wonder how much my score has dropped today bc of this????????????????????? Anybody want to wager a bet. I cannot pull CW for a few more hours. It's nice at least LOOKING 20k less in debt.
