I pulled my report from Equifax, and filed an online dispute. However, i think i accidentally disputed one or two that i shouldnt have.

These two were showing 30 day late pays that were erroneous on another report (EX?), and i must have mixed them up and disputed it with EQ.

Now theyre already under investigation im assuming theres nothing i can do except to wait it out? Or should i try calling them to cancel the investigation on these 2 goodstanding accounts?

    Thanks, still a newbie, obviously

I would try and call to cancel. The good accounts may be deleted...

Have you tried this and been successful or know of any similar situations where this has been successful?

I am def. going to try it anyways.

    Thanks,
    Rain..

No, sorry. It's just your best chance, I think.

Always be very, very careful when submitting disputes online to make sure you're only disputing negative tradelines...

Usually if it gets deleted, the creditor is the one you have to contact about getting it re-added. And that can become a problem is the account is no longer in their system.

One possible solution; is to provide them with prior copy of your credit report showing what is missing, but this is not always a sure thing either that they will accept to make changes.
