    Hi,
Please excuse my ignorance when it comes to this stuff but here goes.

My husband sent validation letters CRRR to Penn Credit and JBC Legal Group...both bottom feeders...received the green card, past 30 days and no validation. Husband pulled his credit report last night and both accounts stated "disputed by consumer".

How did they find out? From CA? If CRA is aware, will it be deleted?

Thanks for any answers ; )

the CA's actually did what they are supposed to do, they contact the CRA and told them that it was being disputed by you. this is a rare thing, at least it was for me..

This is what you want... But it isn't what you wanted...

The dispute notation has nothing to do with whether the CRA will be deleting the account.

However, you could have had these trade lines deleted already...

You said its been more than 30 days since they signed for the green card; IF you would have disputed with the CRA's the minute they signed for the green cards, the accounts would have been deleted by now, since they only have 30 days to respond to the CRA's, and if they respond to the CRA's they are violating for continuing collection activity while under a validation of debts request.

By not disputing the minute they signed the green cards, you gave them carte blanche to keep updating the trade line (a) automated updates are allowed, (b) dispute responses are not allowed.

Now, they've had one month to try to find validation, even if you dispute today, they now have an extra MONTH, to try to find validation, before the account has to be deleted.

Which is better for you, allowing them 60 days to find the validation, or only allowing them 30 days to find the validation. :)

The less time they have to find the validation, the better for you, the worse for them.

    Better late than never... :)

Get the CRA disputes in the mail, and hope that the CA's don't get the validation in the next month.
