I recently sent disputes to all three bureaus by CRRR. I've only received one green card back (from Equifax), however I know that the other bureaus have received my disputes because they have already taken action on some of my disputes. But the other items I disputed, which have not been resolved, have NOT been marked "disputed by consumer" or whatever. How long after the bureaus receive my CRRR are they obligated to mark any disputed entries as "disputed" or "under investigation"?
Great question Cnoob. We've never been able to pin down an answer though. I've seen a court case where it was determined that 4 months was NOT unreasonable. LOL Frankly I think they should do it immediately but you might wait 30 days. Maybe someone else has discovered something. .
